Carrie Welter, APRN-FNP
Carrie received her Board Certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Westminster College in Utah. Carrie has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. She believes that true health comes from finding the root causes of illness and partnering with patients to develop individual treatment plans. Her approach is to connect, listen deeply and meet each patient where they are at with compassion and kindness.
Carrie is a lifelong learner and is constantly expanding her education and expertise. Her background is in Pediatric Critical Care and Cardiovascular medicine, Emergency medicine, Pilates rehabilitation and applying Functional Medicine in clinical practice. She is currently pursuing a certification in Functional Medicine from the Institute for Functional Medicine.
Her expertise and special interests include Clinical Nutrition, Cardiometabolic disorders, Stress Resiliency, Hormone Therapies, Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, Sexual Health, Alternative Pain Management, Gut Health, Detoxification, Autoimmune disorders and many more. With an Integrative approach to healthcare, Carrie combines the best of conventional medicine, complementary modalities and lifestyle interventions for each patient she works with.
