Where did you grow up?
Born in Louisiana, lived in SLC from age 3 years old.
How did you get into functional medicine?
Trusting my gut and my curiosity. I have always recognized the connection between mind, body, and spirit and that an illness or wound in any area affects the others. I also believe in getting to the root of the symptom rather than medicating or masking the symptom. How would you describe what you specialize in?
Healing is sacred space and it is my honor to hold space for those willing to explore their own psyches in search of healing. My patients are my best teachers. I specialize in connections and connection to oneself. What’s your favorite part of your job?
To witness the strength of the human spirit and people in an authentic space. When you’re not working, what do you enjoy doing for fun?
Traveling, shopping, being outdoors, and gardening. You could give your patients one piece of advice, what would it be?
Know how good you really are and treat yourself with compassion!
